Intermediate PHP Developer

KPDi is looking for contract and full-time PHP Developers with a broad skill set in web development. We’re looking for individuals who can build a site on their own, but also work well in a team environment. Fit is everything. We work closely and candidly. We’re on the leading edge of social and local solutions development. If you enjoy a fast moving, ever changing environment and are thirsty to explore the limits of Facebook, Foursquare and Twitter APIs then this could be the place for you.

Of course, we don’t spend every moment on the leading edge – sometimes we just work hard and have fun. Be diligent, responsive and take initiative.

Required Skills and Experience

• Three to five years of professional PHP development
• Intermediate level database development in either MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Strong familiarity with shell-based tools on Unix/Linux operating systems
• Web Development in version control environment, either CVS or SVN
• Developing and customizing WordPress themes and plug-ins

Nice to Have

• Experience with Social API development including either Facebook or Twitter
• Experience with Twitter API development
